I got Treasure Hunters: Secret of the Forbidden City at my local library. After a day of tirelessly reading this book, I finished it and have to say that I really enjoyed this book. I liked when Tommy, Storm, Bick and Beck team up to rescue their parents. They do this because guys with jet skis are trying to destroy a ship that their parents are on. The 4 kids manage to somehow save their parents by whacking and slamming into the skiing people. They also get most of them arrested and their mom and dad end up unharmed.
The book is about Tommy, Storm, Bick, and Beck Kidd, kids who hunt for treasure and their missing parents. When the Kidds secretly find out that their dad is in China, they go there to look for him. He can not make it to the meeting place he wants to meet his family in because bad guys are trying to catch him. They then find out that they have to find the man who can give them mom and find dad, Dionysus Strekting. He can give them mom because another criminal he works with has kidnapped her and Dionysus could make a deal with him. They eventually catch him and are reunited with their mom and dad. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of all of the challenges the Kidds face and how adventurous the book is.
